Work on Mt. Rose HIghway halts for the holiday week : vimars

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will be changing work hours on its Mt. Rose Highway project for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Crews and traffic control will be removed by 8:00 a.m. Friday, July 2 and work/traffic control will resume on Sunday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m.
Outside of the holiday week, working hours remain from Sundays 8:00 p.m.- Fridays at noon.
Along SR-431 Mt. Rose Highway conduit work is averaging one mile per week and is now past the summit toward the Tahoe side. Businesses and residents located off SR-431 in Incline Village can expect to see construction activity in the next few weeks.
