Wounded bandit arrested after Morvant robbery File photo Two men are being treated for wounds after an attempted robbery in Morvant on Monday night. Police said a man got into a taxi and asked to be taken to Lespinet Street at around 9 pm. When they arrived there, the man took out a gun and told the driver to hand over his money and get out of the car. The driver fought back and pulled out a knife, stabbing the bandit once in the midsection. The driver was shot as the bandit ran away. Residents heard the gunshot and saw the driver bleeding. Passers-by took him to the Port of Spain General Hospital (PoSGH), where he was treated.
