A driver was shot and killed in the tioganicetown section of philadelphia and the gunman is still on the run. Police found 27yearold brian gravely slumped over in the drivers seat of a vehicle on the 1700 block of wheat west erie avenue. Now he had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 26yearold passenger was shot in the lower back. He is listed in Critical Condition at temple hospital. So far no word just yet on a possible motive. Police are also searching for the driver responsible for a deadly hitandrun in southwest philadelphia late last night on the 2300 block of south 67th street. The victim a man in his 40s was killed while using a crosswalk. Investigators say theyre looking for a gray van that left the scene. Supreme court ruling narrowing the definition of bribery threatened to crush the case by prosecutors but the judge cited a separate federal court ruling. Menendez could go to prison for decades if convicted. Army Sergeant Bowe bergdahl entered a guilty plea on charges of desertion. He was captured by Taliban Forces after walking away from his post eight years ago. He was held captive for five years before a prisoner swap brought him back in 2014. Bergdahl entered a plea without striking a deal with prosecutors. He faces life in prison when end is sentenced later this month. A blast happened early sunday evening. As we get into the afternoon tomorrow, temperatures arent going to recover a whole lot even with that sunshine. Stopping in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees so, yes, another day below normal but then we really gain ground here as we get into wednesday afternoon, 70 philadelphia, 67 allentown as we go back above normal.
