This past friday evening, a mother and 16yearold daughter and their dog were out for a quiet evening walk along the scenic art road in west white land township. Things took a near fatal turn. 4 42 officers received a call accident hit and run along the 1800 block. That is West Township police wes clark. We spoke to him about the violent hit and run and that people frequently walk along the scenic roads here. And a message for the person that struck the family. If the individuals that hit this family is watching, i beg you to turn yourself in and make it easier for yourself and the victims. We are going to get you. According to the chief both victims were found lieing along the road and they both suffered broken bones and the 16yearold took the brunt of the impact. And the family dog ran away and has since been found. This is the best image of the suspect vehicle that the police have. Its a late model 90s or early 2000 chevy or gmc pickup truck a ladder rack on it and possibly ladders on the rook. And may be righting on the drivers side door and the garage will be on the right front corner. And chief clark hopes that someone can help them find it. The juvenile sustained severe injuries and she had to be operated on. And the driver of that pickup truck knew he hit somebody.
