It was revealed by the pilots union, in the latest statement though it says it made inroads in progress in dealing with the problem of staffing crews during the holiday. I think the union and american will probably come to an agreement probably before that happens. I think with what is at stake theyll get it resolved. At cheffier hill rose vacations calls from clients but the word of 15,000 flights impacted improved. That is how it initially started. But hour to hour it changes and just down to a couple of hundred flights. American is doing everything in their power to just make it be a seamless holiday season. The union that represents american pilots says it was told by american that the computer glitch meant that 15,000 flights from the 17th to the 31st lacked assigned crews and american did not confirm that number but working diligently to staff all the flights. The number of open flights continue to decrease thanks to the pilots stepping up to the plate and picking up trips.
