Lets get, outside we will start with Satellite Six here on action radar. You can see we have quite a bit of moisture approaching from the southwest but the air is so dry right now we are Still Holding on to this large area of High Pressure which is right here skirt ago long u. S. canadian border. It is a very dry area of High Pressure. All that moisture you saw behind me that will fizzle out before it gets in here. Therefore we are keeping wording in the forecast for today dry. There could be precipitation tonight but today is dry, and it will be milder, High Temperatures yesterday right around 42 degrees. We are sitting at 41 in philadelphia. Thirtysix in allentown. Reading 38. Lancaster 38 degrees. Look at how mild to the south. It is 46 in millville. Fortyeight in Atlantic City and dover is pushing, 50 degrees this midday hour. Temperatures are a good five to 8 degrees warmer then they are this same time yesterday. To add to the comfort is there in the much breeze out there we are in the dealing with harsh wind chills but just comfortable sunday afternoon especially compared to the cold temperatures, that we had last week. We had two days with the high never above freezing. One stayed in the 20s. We have had overnight lows numerous times in the teens this past week so believe me this feels better. Heres satellite and radar lots of cloud over midatlantic, showers pushing across ohio valley, blue grass state of kentucky, virginias seeing a little bit of wet wet they are afternoon. Future tracker six shows none of that makes it in the delaware and lehigh valleys later on. By 3 00 everybody is cloudy but dry but then that moisture starts to creep further to the north, right around midnight hour. So most of us still dry but then that quickly over spread region. So by two or 3 00 a. M. You can see blue. That is models way of indicating a lit built of wintry precipitation could be freezing rain, could be snow, a combination of all three. It will be very light, at best and most of it should stay north of the pennsylvania turnpike. It is like a january thaw in the middle of december. So, for today, mostly cloudy. We will call it chilly. Normal high this time of the year is 44. Were only predicting 42. Still below average but bet are then where we have been. Wind five to 10 out of the north. For tonight, philadelphia and immediately surrounding suburbs cloudy skies, spotty showers, and 29 degrees in the lehigh valley. Thirtyfour in philadelphia all areas south ande. Now more specifically for areas north and west, north of the pennsylvania turnpike, it is temperatures that will be close to freezing if not a degree or two lower then that and when that wintry mix develops it will stick. Grounds cold. First thing tomorrow morning there could be icy patches out there, places like quakertown, reading, allentown just take it slow. That black ice you cannot tell what it is like. That why is they call it black ice, transparent. So just be careful out there tomorrow morning.
