New tonight at 5 00 a man and woman from wilmington have been charge in the death of a 15 monthold baby that they were watching. Action News ReporterAnnie Mccormack is live in wilmington with details about this truly horrific, story, annie. Reporter walter, police made those arrests yesterday nearly a week after the child s death during the course of the investigation, the medical examiner ruled that a 15 monthold child died , from Blunt Force Trauma now, Police Arrested 37 yearold levar harris and 22year old tameika wright, according to police, the child s mother placed the baby in the care of those two adults. The couple lives in the 300 block of a fifth street in wilmington. The child was taken to the hospital, last week even, and then died at the hospital on the 17th. That is when investigators, were called. Wilmington police began an investigation working with the attorney generals office, and also child services, and then the medical examiner, deemed this a case of homicide.
