WSCC named Military Friendly Community College : vimarsana.c

The honor comes from a ranking of community colleges by VIQTORY Media, publishers of “G.I. Jobs.”
“I am proud of every award the college receives, but this one is unique,” said Dr. Tony Miksa, president of Walters State.
“Our faculty and staff work hard to make sure students who have served this country get the best experience possible at Walters State. This award is a direct reflection of that commitment.
“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we know that many veterans returning from Vietnam were among our first students. We are grateful that so many American heroes chose to begin the next chapter of their lives here at Walters State,” Miksa said.
