Lucy and iain its hard to imagine a driver hitting two teenagers, barely stopping and just leaving them helpless and scared on the side of the road. Well now that teens family is pleading for the driver to turn himself in. I just want to know who did it. And why they would just leave a kid like that. Reporter this mother of five is irate. Christina page says her 14yearold daughter leanne and a friend were hit by a car saturday night just after 5 00 oclock. Teens were walking home from the Dunkin Donuts on frankford avenue in the holmesburg second of the city when they say car veered into them by the dining car restaurant and then took just took off. I just remember being in the air. Thats all i really remember. I was scared for my life. Reporter leanne flew into the cars windshield before rolling on to the ground her 16yearold friend hurt his arm and leg. She says the driver stopped only to ask if they were okay and quickly sped off. Even the cars behind him didnt even offer to help us. But he didnt. He didnt at all. Nobody did. Reporter leanne hobbled home, scared, shocked and sore. Her stunned family immediately called an ambulance. The teen rushed to aria torresdale hospital. She has one cut that need add stitch. Another cut that needed to be glued. Her whole back looks like a tiger attacked her from all the glass cuts. Reporter her 12yearold brother jason was also with her and witnessed the horror. I got worried at first but now im just mad they cant find him or anything. Hes in the in jail right now. Reporter what would you say to this person . Why would you leave .
