Craving high-quality German-style meats at an unorthodox time? If you're in Hermann, the Wurst Haus has you covered. Last month, the restaurant and butcher shop installed two vending machines, made by the German company Regiomat, outside its store. The machines will dispense a sampling of the Wurst Haus' wide array of meat products. "This will allow visitors and locals to buy top quality meats, with no human contact 24/7. This is perfect for cyclists, visitors who arrive by Amtrak, or if you just have a late-night snack attack," Wurst Haus owner Mike Sloan said in a news release. Options such as bratwurst, bacon, summer sausage, jerky and sandwiches will be available, the release noted.
