WVU officials provide more details about fall semester By June 17, 2021 - 10:50 pm MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University officials provided more details on Thursday behind the decision to fully reopen the three campuses for the fall semester. The university announced earlier this week the campuses in Morgantown, Keyser and Beckley will be open when the fall semester begins in August. Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, the dean of the institution’s School of Public Health, noted during a Return to Campus Conversation event that preventive measures and improved vaccination efforts are contributing factors in West Virginia’s declining rate of active coronavirus cases.
