(Dan Cepeda, Oil City) CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) reported 88 new laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state during its regular Sunday morning update, Jan. 10. That brought the total to 40,013 confirmed COVID cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began. There have been 489 total COVID-19 related deaths since the pandemic began. 25 of those deaths were announced last Thursday. Five of those were in Natrona County, where 101 residents have died with COVID as a contributing factor.
