The catchment boundary between Yarrow Primary School and Philiphaugh Community School was discussed by Scottish Borders Council’s (SBC) executive committee on May 18. According to a council report, there has been a “sustained decline in pupil numbers at Yarrow Primary School” – with the current roll consisting of 13 children. At the meeting, SBC solicitor Gillian Sellar said the council has been working with parents of children at the school “looking at sustainability”.
