Send us your views on the week's news Old Shoreham Road cycle lane IT IS with disappointment and dismay that I read Peter Kyle's article on the cycle lanes in Brighton and Hove. I was recently elected to the post of environment officer in the Wish and Westbourne branch of the Labour Party, but write as an individual. However, the creation of this post reflects the interest and enthusiasm within the Labour Party to improve the environment locally in order to achieve the 2030 zero carbon target set by, at that time, the Labour-led council. Politicians and political parties must reflect the views of their members and the wider electorate when introducing change and consultation is crucial to ensure that we create places where people want to live and work.
