PAWTUCKET – It won’t quite be back to normal for Pawtucket’s high school students this spring, but end-of-year events, some with a twist, have returned.
Supt. Cheryl McWilliams said that Tolman High School students decided on having their prom, delayed from the end of May to the first week in June to take it beyond the May 28 deadline for rules to relax in Rhode Island.
Students at Shea High School and the Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts, meanwhile, were also given the choice of a prom or some other celebration under various scenarios, and those surveyed opted for senior outing celebrations at Slater Park.
