Co-trainer Natalie Young says Australian Guineas favourite Tagaloa is 'spot on' for Saturday's Group 1 at Flemington.
The Blue Diamond winner stormed into favouritism for the Australian Guineas on the back of a dominant win in fast time in the C.S. Hayes Stakes at Flemington last start and Young, who trains in partnership with Trent Busuttin, is confident he is ready to fire in his grand final.
"He is really great," Young said on Tuesday.
"I couldn't have asked him to come through that last race any better. He did a nice bit of work this morning on the course proper. Really towed me to the line at the 1200m and just rolled into it nicely.
