HOPEWELL, Va. (WWBT) - The Hopewell Police Department is working with the Drug Enforcement Administration for the 19th annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
On Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members can dispose of potentially dangerous, expired or unused prescription drugs.
Hopewell residents can bring medications to the police collection site in the Cavalier Square Shopping Center.
No needles, syringes or liquids will be accepted. The service is free with no questions asked. ....

STATEWIDE If you have unused or expired medications in your medicine cabinet, you will have a chance to get rid of them safely this weekend.
The annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held Saturday, April 24, at Indiana State Police posts around the state.
Anyone wishing to participate can drop off their prescription drugs for disposal between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time.
Vaping pens without batteries and vaping cartridges will be accepted, but new or used needles will not be accepted.
The medication collection service is free, no questions asked. ....
