Kurill’s death was reported by her father through the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) – a national vaccine safety surveillance program run by the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the
Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Her case was the latest of four reported deaths related to coronavirus vaccine in Utah. The first three involved elders belonging in the same category as those at most risk of dying from coronavirus.

Negri MB to meet all assemblymen next week to brief them on current issues

SEREMBAN: Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun will meet all assemblymen next week to brief them on current issues, particularly on the implementation of the state-level National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
He said since the assembly sitting has been suspended due to the proclamation of Emergency, the meeting was necessary so that all assemblymen, including those from the Opposition, were aware of current developments as well as measures taken to ensure the vaccination plan was successful.
“We plan to hold the meeting at the state assembly hall as it can comfortably accommodate all of us.
“It will also be good to have the meeting there as we have put up proper partitions between the sitting area for each assemblyman, ” he told reporters after chairing the state exco meeting at Wisma Negri on Wednesday (March 17). ....

AstraZeneca Plc’s embattled coronavirus vaccine didn’t offer much protection against mild disease caused by the variant that emerged in South Africa in a study that prompted the country to seek other immunisations last month.
The vaccine had an efficacy of just 10 per cent against the variant strain, according to the study published on Tuesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.
