A friendship tree was planted in Islamabad at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs in on Thursday as part of the ongoing celebrations to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
The tree was jointly planted by Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong, according to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ....

ISLAMABAD, May 8 (Xinhua) Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned the attacks at a school in Afghanistan, according to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At least 25 people were killed and 52 wounded after three consecutive explosions rocked outside a school in western part of Kabul, capital of Afghanistan on Saturday, the capital police confirmed.
The government and the people of Pakistan offer heartfelt condolences to the government and the people of Afghanistan and pray for quick recovery of the injured, the Pakistani foreign ministry said in a statement.
Pakistan condemns terrorism in all forms and manifestations, the statement said, adding that at this moment of grief, Pakistan stands by the Afghan people in their struggle against the scourge of terrorism. ....

ISLAMABAD, May 8 (Xinhua) Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned the attacks at a school in Afghanistan, according to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
