Essential Properties Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: EPRT; the “Company”) announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 6,500,000 shares of its common stock. The Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 975,000 shares of common stock. The Company expects to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay amounts outstanding on its revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes, including potential future investments. All of the shares are being offered by the Company.
Citigroup, BofA Securities and Barclays are acting as the joint book-running managers of the offering. ....

Essential foodstuffs in Oman to attract zero per cent VAT

Generous exemption basket to help support decent standard of living in Oman.
Muscat: Items such as vegetables, food grains, fruits, poultry, and dairy will be subject to zero percent Value Added Tax (VAT) once it comes into effect on 16 April.
Some 488 essential items have been listed by the Ministry of Finance as those which will not be taxed under VAT.
They include garlic, potatoes (fresh and frozen), carrots, dates, avocados, mangoes, oranges, lemons, grapes, pineapple, varieties of fish, wheat, and rice.
Also on the list are mineral water, sugar, salt, meats, poultry, dairy products, fresh eggs, vegetables, fruits, coffee beans, tea, cardamom, grains, olive oil, baby food products, and bread. Other items included on the list are medicines and medical equipment and life-saving drugs. ....

VALLEY VISIONS: Dreams for Northeast Texas Trail continues

People from all over are flocking to the 130-mile long Northeast Texas Trail, and Reno resident and trail enthusiast Kelly Whitley and her family could not be more excited.
âIâve always been an outdoors-seeking kinda gal,â the secretary of the Northeast Texas Trail Coalition said while talking about her enthusiasm. âMy dream is to get out of my house just a short distance away from here and ride my bike down this trail and be able to go to Farmersville or New Boston for the weekend.â
For the past 20 years, thanks to men like Coalition President Earl Erickson of Paris, what once was a railroad bed is being cleared, bridges repaired and a hard surface applied. About 70% of the trail is improved to at least a phase 1 level with pedestrian gates, improved drainage, signage, restored bridges and surface grading, Whitley said. ....
