PHUKET: The Patong branch of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Kamala tomorrow (Apr 29) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

HOUSTON – On Monday, Senate Bill 1750 was passed requiring emergency preparedness plans from those facilities that are within the Texas chain of electric and natural gas.
“The weakness in all the legislation that has passed so far is that there are easy outs,” House Representative Jon Rosenthal of District 135 in the Katy area said.
Rosenthal is a mechanical engineer who has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years.
He told KPRC 2 Investigates the state and its system to supply millions with power and heat is still very exposed. ....

More than 8,000 consumers were left without power in JÃµgeva on Tuesday morning after a fire erupted at a substation of grid distributor Elektrilevi. As of Wednesday, more than 2,200 clients are still without electricity, but power should be restored by Wednesday afternoon.
According to data from Elektrilevi s interruptions map on at 9 a.m. Wednesday, 2,217 clients were without power in JÃµgeva and its nearby areas.
JÃµgeva municipality government posted to social media on Wednesday morning that power and water supply has been restored in the SadukÃ¼la region, but a large part of JÃµgeva s households are still without power. There is hope that power is restored around 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. ....
