Sunshine Coast residents looking to make a positive change to their lives this year are being urged to take part in The Lift Project Sunshine Coast, which starts on 8 February.
Registrations are closing soon for the third round of the popular online wellbeing program which is free for all local residents.
Sunshine Coast Lightning star Cara Koenen is proud to be an ambassador and said looking after mental and physical wellbeing was crucial to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
“This past year has been really tough for so many people and for council to offer a free online wellbeing program that’s easy to access and really inspires people to change their lives is such a great initiative,” Ms Koenen said. ....

The new report is the outcome of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between UNDP and Turkey USHAŞ back in June 2020. The objective of this partnership has been to work together to strengthen local capacity and build opportunities and transfer knowledge between Turkey and partner countries for developing high-quality PPE production and distribution within the framework of South-South Cooperation.

World Bank Group and CES Announce Global Tech Challenge Winners
Today the World Bank Group and CES announced the winners of the Global Tech Challenge at CES®2021.
The result of a partnership between the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and the World Bank Group, the Global Tech Challenge was launched at CES 2020 to reward scalable and innovative technological solutions in three main areas: digital health in East Africa, resilience in India and gender equality around the world. Technology solutions that helped communities respond to the COVID-19 pandemic were also prioritized.
Selected among over 1,000 applications, three winners were selected for gender equality, 10 for resilience and 17 for digital health. More details about the selected innovations can be accessed here for health, resilience and gender equality. ....
