India on Friday reported 23,068 new Covid-19 infections, taking the country's tally to 1,01,46,846, according to data provided by the Union Health Ministry.
With 336 new deaths, the toll mounted to 1,47,092 as of Friday. The total active cases in the country stand at 2,81,919.
With 24,661 new discharges in the last 24 hours, the total of discharged cases stands at 97,17,834.
Delhi recorded 1,063 fresh Covid-19 cases and 37 new fatalities on Thursday, while the positivity rate stood at 1.18 per cent, authorities said.
