Though eventually. a tropical depression still drawing in lots of gulf moisture into the area. we ve had already almost eight inches of rain. one or two inches more is possible and few isolated amounts could go higher than that. our depression will be dissipating as we head through the weekend. what that means is a lot less rain here, particularly in south texas. we ll still see it continue today. then as we head into friday, south texas is going to be looking a lot drier. we ll still have more rain in north texas due to the front. then by the time we get into sunday, all of the lone star state will get a chance to dry out. then we can get the rivers back down into the banks. the same front will mean warm temperatures here around georgia and south carolina, back into the 100s today. we were near 100 yesterday around atlanta. then, a little bit of heat relief as we head into your saturday with a cold front. more clouds and rain, but the ....
