COVID Deaths pass 1,000 mark
The number of Delawareans who have died from COVID-19 surpassed the 1,000 mark last week as hospitalizations held steady. In its weekly report issued Jan. 15, the Delaware Division of Public Health said a total of 1,002 Delawareans have passed away due to complications from COVID-19. The state reported 45 additional deaths since its previous update. Individuals who have died from COVID-19 range in age from younger than 5 to 104 years old; 511 were female and 491 were male.
