Updated: 9:11 PM CST Jan 31, 2021 KMBC 9 News Staff Kansas City, Kansas police say a woman who may have been a kidnapping victim has been located safe, as they continue their search for a person of interest in a homicide and possible kidnapping. The homicide happened Saturday around 5 p.m. near North 18 Street and Minnesota Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man in his early 40s dead inside a home.Detectives are searching for Kenneth Crowley as a person of interest in the homicide and possible kidnapping 37-year-old Laneia Taylor. Police say Taylor was received into police custody late Sunday afternoon. They have not confirmed whether she was, in fact, kidnapped.KCKPD says Crowley is driving a dark blue 2006 Hyundai Azera with a Kansas license plate 878 JAD.
