It was a big day for one Wilson County School - Stoner Creek Elementary officially welcomed the community into the new school building.

It’s been almost 1,000 days since students and teachers were at the original site and being able to reopen hasn’t been easy.

The start of the school year marks new beginnings. One Wilson County school celebrated with a pep rally, but the celebration took on a whole new meaning following two years of challenges.
