A pedestrian is dead following a hit-and-run in the Hazelwood neighborhood Saturday night, Feb. 6. The name of the victim was not immediately released. According to police, officers reported to the scene near Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 136th Avenue around 6:52 p.m. on Feb. 6 and found the deceased pedestrian with the suspect vehicle nowhere in sight. The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team responded to conduct the investigation.
