India must allocate more spectrum in the mid-band like 6GHz for a seamless 5G mobile service in the country, else the 5G download speed would be reduced to 50 percent, when fully deployed, if less spectrum is allocated in the 6GHz band, the Cellular Operators' Association of India (COAI) said on Monday.
