Seoul [South Korea], July 1 (ANI/Xinhua): South Korea reported 9,528 new COVID-19 cases as of midnight Thursday, raising the total number of infections to 18,368,857, the health authorities said Friday.

New Covid-19 cases continue to drop; 35K recover

MANILA - The country's daily new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) continued to decrease, with Saturday's tally of 17,382 infections down from the 18,638 recorded the previous day. To date, 213,587 are undergoing treatment, accounting or 6.1 percent of the total confirmed 3,528,796 cases since the outbreak began. Based on the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH), 35,382 have recuperated from the disease, raising the recovery tally to 3,261,338 or 92.4 percent of the total.
