LaHood calls the measure which passed the U.S. House early Saturday “partisan” and says it includes items not directly related to COVID relief. In a statement, he says Democrats are pushing the bill in such a way as to prevent Republican input and changes.

A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with the murder of another teen in Grandview, but so far there are no arrests in last weekend’s fatal shooting at a Springfield party or the death of Timothy Swope, Jr. Thursday on South Sixth Street.
