-- we have to expect a repeat of those attempts in the future, and a proliferation of them. >> secretary benson, one of the reasons i wanted to talk to you is because part of the effort that we see from a.g. dana nessel it's about accountability, in the interest of making sure that this never happens again. you, as secretary of state, you are running elections. it is a clear, top priority. what are you doing right now, proactively, to make sure that the 2024 election in your state run smoothly? >> a couple of things. number one, we are building off of what we have already learned, not just in 2020, but in 2022, to protect against and prepare for the tactics that have been employed in the past to not just interfere with the certification and electoral process, but interfere with the counting process, interfere through acts of intimidation or subversion with the actual voting process. so, we've got a lot of plans in place to -- and build on what we have done successfully in 2020 and 2022,
