The special bird of Box Canyon: the Black Swift
We are given many beautiful things in Nature – Anonymous I had no idea back in 1996 that I would still be going to Box Canyon to see the Black Swifts in 2022, taking pictures, taking notes, talking to the tourists and watching these special birds. It is hard to stay away, and I love my job! My friend and former neighbor, Barb Boland, was responsible for introducing me to these special birds.
