Federal officials charged an Ohio man in connection with an explosion in Carroll County in October.The story involves a pipe bomb explosion, role play video game and unrequited love, and it takes place in a small Carroll County town. It was an event that had frightened many around here, back in October when someone sent a package to this house and it ended up exploding when a person inside opened it, now federal agents arrested a man in Ohio with ties to the victim and his girlfriend.The house looks a lot different as construction workers put on the finishing touches.At the time after the explosion, 11 News spoke with the victim s grandmother.“I’m in the kitchen, I hear an explosion and I hear my grandson scream,” the victim’s grandmother said.Now, after an almost five month federal, multi-state and local investigation, an arrest is made.“The defendant traveled from Ohio to Maryland with the purpose and intent to unleash a dangerous explosive device on the victim,� ....
