Investigation under way after two public buildings deemed earthquake prone despite strengthening

The Waipukurau Library has been closed indefinitely as it was deemed earthquake prone. Despite strengthening as part of structural and renovation works in 2015, the Waipukurau Library, built in the late 1940s, has been closed indefinitely.
