White County Election Results
Issues with a machine at the White County courthouse delayed results Tuesday night. Voter turnout was dismal however throughout the region. In Hamilton County, only 18.6% of eligible voters turned out. Officials with County Clerk Heather Bowman's office said 1,025 ballots were cast out of a possible 5,512. A similar story played out in Wayne County where only about 10% of eligible voters turned out. In White County, voter turnout was a hair better at 21.9%.
