Jul 13, 2021 The proposed "Scenic River" designation for Paint Creek and its tributaries continues to flow along. The Ross County Commissioners heard from representatives from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources on the progress towards acknowledging the beauty and natural state of the streams that flow through Ross, Highland, and Fayette counties. The designation focuses on Paint Creek up to the dam, and its 35-mile North Fork. Mar 1, 2021 The Ross County Commissioners meet today at the Ross County Courthouse. At 9:15am David Glass will appear in regards to the oath of office for the Board of Elections. At 9:30, they will hear from Lori Baldridge from the Secretary of State. The commissioners will hear about the Yellowbud Solar Project at 10. Bob Gable and Aaron Roarke will speak on ODNR Scenic River designation at 11. After a recess, they will hear on separation of IT with Ross County courts.
