It seems each week, a law enforcement officer in Arizona is injured or killed, and 2022 has seen many cases of officers getting hurt while on duty. In some cases, officers were seriously injured due to gunshot wounds.
Phoenix police said Ahmani Gordon, 22, and Aaron Ware, 22, were arrested on suspicion of shooting an officer. The officer was recovering in the hospital.
