Profits hit €103m at homebuilder Abbey, but sales fall
Profits at homebuilder Abbey – which was taken private by the Gallagher family in 2021 – soared 20pc to £88.4m (€103.6m) in its last financial year even as turnover fell amid fewer sales, newly-filed accounts for the business show. Its performance was helped by its plant hire division.
