Savages Host Eagles in Round One
The road to Wells Fargo Arena starts tonight for the Sigourney girls’ basketball team when they host Moulton-Udell for a class 1A first round regional. Sigourney closed the regular season 16-5 including a 12-3 South Iowa Cedar League record to claim their fifth straight division title. The success starts with Kaylee Weber, as the 5’10’’ senior recently eclipsed 1,000 points for her career and records 19.4 points and 10.1 rebounds a game.
