Neither of them knew many people there so they ended up chatting. They spoke about their love of languages, music, travel, and food. "We were creating an awesome connection, when suddenly another woman interrupted," Marcus recalls. "I was like, 'Whoa, her friend is trying to save her from me,' and we went our separate ways."
