As the global workplace paradigm shifted to a remote workforce, many companies found themselves in a scramble to figure out whether an entire company operating remotely and safely was even feasible. Unfortunately, hurry leads to waste, and stopgap good enough protection strategies have left companies with a severe lack of visibility through corporate and personal devices, as well as rudimentary breach response plans.
Given the increased complexity of a dispersed workforce, companies need their cybersecurity technology to maintain a high level of protection for workers at home or the workplace. If and when we embrace a permanent hybrid work-from-anywhere workforce, the greatest danger is that organisations fall short in securing both offsite and in-office legacy systems. ....

CIOMajlis, a UAE consortium of IT professionals, has announced that the organisation is expanding its activities to align with the UAE s development strategy outlined in Designing the Next 50, a robust programme envisaged by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

This year’s Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) event and conference, which held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE, gave Nigeria the opportunity to showcase itself as strategic gateway for investment in Africa, during the African Investment Forum at GITEX 2020, while wooing global investors, reports Emma Okonji
The annual GITEX event, which commenced December 6, 2020, came to a close on December 10, with lots of opportunities for investments in Africa, as presented by Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ibrahim Pantami.
