The international ink specialist hubergroup Print Solutions has revised and strengthened its UV offset portfolio for non-absorbent substrates. The portfolio includes printing inks, varnishes, and fountain solution additives that are optimally matched to each other and thus enable a smooth printing process.   The globally available food and non-food ink series NewV poly (MGA) and NewV tin (MGA) as well as the varnish series NewV lac (MGA) are now also formulated to be sensorially neutral and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)-free.   

INX International Ink has appointed Paul Edwards as the new vice president of the digital division. A longtime and successful printing industry executive, he reports to president and chief executive officer Bryce Kristo.  

Tarsus Group, organizer of the Labelexpo Global Series, has announced that Labelexpo Europe will move from its current location at Brussels Expo to Barcelona Fira for its 2025 edition.

Sandon Global, the UK-headquartered anilox manufacturer, has joined Finat, the European association for the self-adhesive label industry.  As a worldwide supplier of anilox rolls and anilox sleeves to the label and narrow web printing sector, Sandon Global was formally accepted as a Finat member at the end of April.  

Kopparberg’s annual Limited-Edition design competition has declared Ravensbourne University student, Paulina Grönlund as the 2023 winner, beating 200 other students to the post.   The partnership with Ravensbourne University, part of Kopparberg’s continued mission to celebrate and champion the UK’s independent creatives, invited students to create and submit designs for a selection of this summer’s limited-edition labels for bestselling flavors - Strawberry & Lime, Mixed Fruit, and Pear.
