We checked and Sarasota County granted her an exemption to operate a day care as a business since the neighborhood is zoned residential. The building is a converted house. She said they were planning to install concrete barriers as a layer of protection but hadnt gotten to it yet. It was very scary but as you can see by the mess it couldve been worse.
