One person is dead and another critically injured following a shooting Tuesday night in the Lorson Ranch area southeast of Colorado Springs in unincorporated El Paso County, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. Around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, EPCSO officials said they had responded to reports of shots fired along the 10000 block of Abrams Drive near the intersection of Marksheffel Road and Fontaine Boulevard in unincorporated El Paso County, southeast of Colorado Springs.

A 19-year-old North Huntingdon man killed over the weekend in a dirt bike crash was an experienced rider, a friend said. “He had been riding a long time all around here. He’s probably been riding on Ridge Road for half a decade,” Zachary Corlazzoli said of his friend, Adam Bilinsky.

Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that the two people involved in the crash had been missing since Saturday.

A total of 13 live cats were rescued from the property. Police also said 10 more were rescued from a neighbor who'd been capturing them "for safe keeping."
