The dimensions of the accessible path and i even need to hold it close to my eyes to read them to you, but the engineering measurement for the path from the doorway to the wheelchair zone is 48. 83 inches and the path to the aisle is 42. 78 inches. The car thats pictured there is a cab car which is a car that has a train operator space, the cab where it operates. The noncab cars will look very similar except instead of the cab there, you will have more seating. 40 percent of the bart cars are cab cars and the other 60 percent have more seating than the cab cars. Be supporting our budget come june. With the councils permission, what i would like to do is agenda i was and item on the june mdc meeting to really go into greater detail about the ada transition plan. What weve accomplished so far as well as what we still need to do and when we think well be finished with that. My next item is to talk about our mod office. I wanted to provide a brief update on the remodeling work at our office at 1155 market street. Awe you know weve been at the center of an active construction site for most of the last year. Our building facade has scaffold which makes it difficult for people to find us. We had a construction barrier out front which made it difficult for people who are blind and low vision to navigate around that and our lobby had a construction did you tunnel in place. Hasnt arrived on. State legislation. There were two bills we were monitoring and tracking. One is that was introduced by assembly man tom amiano to give San Francisco a choice in how it does its energy cca programs. Unfortunately that bill died in the local government committee. They had some concerns about t the forces on the other side that didnt want to see it said it violated the city charter but we said it didnt but the bill did not move forward. The other bill were monitoring is the brad ford bill 2145 which would change cca programs it and the bill would get through the committee. Its now sitting at Appropriations Committee where it will get a hearing next week. Should it go from there to the Assembly Floor and pass that to the senate side so were monitoring that. To the Mayors Disability Council this friday may 16, 2014, in room 400 of San Francisco city hall. City hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other assistive mobility devices. Wheelchair access is provided at the van ness and mccall street. And entrance is provided via a wheelchair lift. Assistant listening devices are available and our meeting is open captioned and sign language interpreted. Our agendas are also available in large print and braille. Please ask staff for any additional assistance.
