Norwegian salmon farmer is first seafood supplier to join Microsoft-backed wholesale food distributor
Norwegian salmon farmer Kvaroy Arctic is featuring its products on Microsoft-backed wholesale distribution firm Pod Foods starting Feb. 23, making it easier for US-based retailers to access the company's range of value-added salmon products. So far, New York's Cherry Hill Markets, Dallas and Austin's Cox Farm Market and Chicagoland's Acron Acres have committed to carrying Kvaroy Arctic through the Pod Foods network, the company said. Pod Foods is a tech-enabled wholesale distribution network backed by Microsoft's venture arm M12, Moment Ventures and Unshackled VC.
