Naked Wines's American sales top over £150m
Sales at Naked Wines surged last year as drinkers bought considerably more alcohol online in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the shutting of hospitality venues. Over £150million of wine was sold to the United States market, a three-quarters increase on the previous year and worth 45 per cent of the group's overall trade.
