New Delhi [India], January 13 (ANI): In a major boost for Make in India in defence, the Cabinet Committee on Security chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the largest indigenous defence procurement deal worth about Rs 48,000 crores to buy 83 LCA Tejas Mark1A fighter jets.
The deal to be signed in the next few days with HAL would strengthen the Indian Air Force s fleet of homegrown fighter jet LCA-Tejas and overall combat capability.

New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on Wednesday (January 13) procurement of 83 Tejas aircraft at a cost of about Rs 48,000 crore from the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The deal is considered to be the biggest ever in the indigenous military aviation sector.

New Delhi: In a big boost to the Indian Air Force (IAF) and PM Narendra Modi s Make in India initiative, the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday cleared the purchase of 83 Light Combat Aircraft Tejas from the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The Rs 48,000 crore deal will be the biggest ever in the indigenous military aviation sector.
