Amherst Involved In International Walking Competition It's time to prove which Amherst is the best in North America.  They're gonna do it by taking part in an international walking competition. The competition is pretty simple. How cool is this! The District of Lunenburg Recreation Dept has teamed up with Hike NS, and they have a chance for you to get your hands on a District of Lunenburg Hike Badge. It’s pretty darn cool looking and to get yourself one, you just need to go on some hikes and live in the MODL. You have to hike at least 3 of 5 of their chosen hikes this year.
